Penta Hotel Warrington – Grand Opening
Mason Mac Media were tasked by Penta Hotels Europe to arrange the Grand Opening launch of Penta Hotel Warrington. From arranging celebrity acts to perform, along with celebrities attending the party to arranging national press coverage. The party was featured in OK Magazine, Heat Magazine, The Daily Mail Online, Manchester Evening News, The Liverpool Echo and many more. We also staffed the event to ensure smooth running of the guest list, transport and accommodation requirements. Check out our video of the evening.
The Radio City Hash Tag Dash Cash campaign with GT Law Solicitors
Mason Mac Media working with Radio City 96.7 delivered a truly unique (and first ever done on radio city) campaign to promote GT Law through a mix of on air advertising, DJ talk ups and advert trails, along with joining this into social media through Twitter.
The concept was for radio city to show a map on their website along with GT Law to give away £1500 each day to one lucky listener. Every time they reached 500 tweets with a certain hash tag promoted each day, the map would zoom in. This went on to identify a specific location each day, with the first listener to find the hidden Hash Dash Cash person and say the phrase to them, winning the £1500 cash.
The campaign was run over two weeks, with a pre event launch week promoting the campaign with GT Law Solicitors as the sponsor.
After just the first day, the campaign went viral, with #hashmonday and @GTlawsolicitors trending on twitter as well as all of the on air promotion of GT Law’s brand.
The campaign was a huge success with the client having received massive amounts of coverage in such an unusual yet highly popular event.
It was a unique way to move a client ahead of rival brands and to generate so much interest around them in a fun way to the general public.

GT Law tasked Mason Mac Media with launching a uniquely different advertising campaign on the radio within the Merseyside region.
We were able to get rates from a Liverpool based radio station which were more appealing to GT Law after initially requesting an advertising campaign directly. This was due to the rate but also due to the added value we could provide to the campaign.
We worked creatively with GT Law to get their message across in a unique way, compared to all of the other personal injury solicitors advertising across the UK and are delighted to announce the feedback from the public has been exceptional.

Applicado-Rec Sports Advertising
Working within sports sponsorships and advertising, Mason Mac Media set about actively pursuing relevant businesses to partner with professional PDC darts player, Kevin Painter in January 2012 ahead of him entering the top 8 players in the world playing in the PDC Darts Premier League from January 2012 to May 2012. Kevin asked us to assist in generating sponsorship to support his 4 months, weekly competing in the premier league live on Sky Sports.
Applicado-Rec were contacted and immediately had an interest in partnering on a sponsorship to advertise their recruitment business, Applicado-Rec. Applicado-Rec asked for information on what was included in the sponsorship over this period and we
also took on further aspects to help tailor make a sponsorship package which worked for them and for Kevin.
This campaign was broadcast live on Sky Sports every week to tens of millions of viewers across the term, seeing the ‘Applicado-Rec’ badge on Kevin Painter’s shirt in the tournament, interviews and in other forms of reporting media including online and press.
We were delighted to have Applicado-Rec continue their sponsorship for the remainder of 2012 after the PDC Darts Premier League had finished.
